The first and foremost thing to do to improve politics in India is to vote sensibly for those who want to work rather than for those who want to take hard earned taxpayers money into their own swiss accounts.

How to choose best candidate

1. you have to make sacrifices by voting  those who are not luring you by some fancy schemes like free TV and cash in tamil nadu . 
1. You get short term gain by electing those low lives but it affects you in the long run when they make policies on the basis of their own and business men's interests
2. Be smart and know about the candidates standing in elections from your area.

How to fight corruption in india

1. Disclaimer:- These are personal views and just presented for you to think about the possibilities that are present.Thinking and doing is your job too
2. I think eliminating corruption is not possible and should not be done. That's because its a part of our social ecosystem(@personal view).If we break the ecosystem then we have to deal with the consequences.
3. We can improve our ecosystem that those being corrupt get caught and have fear of getting caught. 
4. They must also have fear and understanding of the consequences of their actions. Just saying that you will be sent to jail for 5 years is not effective because a person who has not even spent a second inside jail cannot imagine what will be like 5 years 
5. knowledge is our best weapon to fight corruption because if we know how to report about a babu asking for a bribe then we can surely make him do his work (@in ideal scenarios but then also something is better than nothing)
6. Support those who are struggling to fight corruption
7. having proper set of rules and their knowledge can help
8. The main thing i think that can help reduce corruption is accountability of actions i.e. netas are not help accountable for not fulfilling their promises. I know that most of their promises are castles in air but then also some accountability should be given to their actions.

This list is very amateur but it will grow and become better because those who face the problem solve it or sing about it.
